Job summary

Terex Corporation in Michigan seeks a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to develop and lead purchasing strategies aligned with corporate goals, using Lean techniques to improve efficiency and cost performance. You will manage the supply chain function, drive KPI attainment, and mentor a growing team of professionals.

The role partners with Quality, Finance, and Production to ensure on-time delivery, optimize inventory, and coordinate with 3PLs for international shipments.

Qualifications

• BS in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 2 years in materials management or supervisory role.
• Experience managing procurement spend up to $20M.
• Strong ERP/MRP knowledge; Oracle preferred.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Ability to meet targets and KPIs; strong negotiation skills.
• Experience with low-cost country sourcing and sourcing projects.
• Sourcing and vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and execute supply chain and purchasing strategies aligned with corporate initiatives.
• Define, implement, and regularly improve supply chain KPI's and targets with clear time plans to reach targets.
• Oversee day-to-day supply chain function including people management.
• Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking.
• Collaborate with group-level buyers to identify suppliers, gather quotes, and place orders.
• Support ECO process and related procurement activity.
• Inventory management including cycle counting >95% target, raw material management, month-end close.
• Work cross-functionally with Quality, Finance, and Production to ensure reject note process compliance and minimize production impact.
• Assist with loading material demand into the MRP System.
• Facilitate flow of materials and finished goods through 3PLs including international shipments.
