Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in the United States is seeking a Senior Materials Planner to lead material and supply planning for defined product lines and supplier categories. You will translate demand and schedules into executable supply plans, serve as the primary supply chain contact, and drive planning discipline within GMP-compliant SAP environments.

The role requires a minimum of five years in supply planning, strong SAP MM/WM knowledge, and a proactive approach to risk and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in a related field with at least five years in supply planning or a similar role.
• Strong SAP MM/WM knowledge and experience with MRP and production planning.
• Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions under limited direction.
• Excellent communication to present recommendations to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute short- and mid-range supply plans aligning schedules, demand, and inventory goals.
• Analyze MRP outputs, forecasts, lead times, safety stock, and supplier performance to set actions.
• Make procurement and material allocation decisions balancing service, cost, and risk.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, Warehouse, and Finance teams.
• Develop risk scenarios and mitigation plans to protect production and customer commitments.
• Maintain SAP master data and ensure reconciliations with batch records.
