Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Materials Requisitioner / Planner for the Long Beach, MS facility to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves managing fulfillment, creating requisitions in CostPoint, and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree with 4–8 years of procurement experience, MR P knowledge, and familiarity with Windchill/PLM software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4-8 years of relevant procurement experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MRP knowledge or CostPoint experience is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and with PLM/ Windchill is desirable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the fulfillment acquisition process.
• Create purchase requisitions in CostPoint.
• Communicate effectively with DoD industry suppliers and cultivate relationships.
• Manage required supplier paperwork.
• Collaborate with engineering, production planning, purchasing and quality teams for mission success.
• Track supplier on-time delivery.
• Follow-up to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule.
• Maintain purchasing records and purchasing BOM status.
• Data analysis and understanding of production flow.
• Create, open and close manufacturing orders.
• Other administrative duties as required.
