Job summary

Electrolux Group in North America is seeking a Materials Planner based in Kinston, NC to coordinate material supply and ensure on-time delivery. You will partner with Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics and Operations to optimize inventory and service levels.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years in materials planning or similar roles, with strong Excel and MAPICS experience to drive efficiency and compliance in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field
• Minimum 3 years in materials planning, purchasing, inventory control, or supply chain operations
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and data skills
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as MAPICS

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage material requirements to support customer demand and optimize inventory levels
• Analyze forecasts, demand signals, backorders, and inventory trends
• Create, maintain, and expedite purchase orders with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
• Coordinate inbound shipments, dock scheduling, interfacility transfers, and transportation plans
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, NPI, and Service teams
• Prioritize and schedule orders based on business needs and monitor shipment progress
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems (SAP, MAPICS) to manage planning activities and KPI reports
• Drive continuous improvement, inventory accuracy, and compliance with ISO standards
