Job summary

Rocketdyne in Mason, OH is seeking a Material Planner to plan, order and monitor materials to meet production schedules. You will coordinate with manufacturing, quality and supply chain, analyze BOMs and ensure material availability.

The role requires ERP/MRP experience (Deltek Costpoint preferred), proficiency with MS Project, and a Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience. You will drive improvements in processes and respond to shortages while maintaining inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in material planning or supply chain.
• Experience with ERP manufacturing planning systems, ideally Deltek Costpoint.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the supply of materials to meet production requirements and safety stock levels.
• Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions.
• Check MRP messages daily and resolve data issues.
• Understand and manage risk to minimize production impact.
• Monitor BOM integrity and coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain.
