Job summary

kdc/one in Groveport, OH seeks a Planner to coordinate material availability and production planning to meet customer demand and improve efficiency. You will collaborate across Scheduling, Production, Lab, and Client Services to ensure OTIF performance and timely material releases.

Required is a Bachelor's in a related field with 3–5 years in manufacturing planning and hands-on ERP/MRP experience (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain or production planning in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication between Scheduling and internal departments to align production priorities.
• Confirm material availability to support production schedules and identify shortages or risks.
• Work with Schedulers and suppliers to expedite or delay material deliveries as needed.
• Communicate priority materials, batches, and finished goods with Laboratory and Compounding teams.
• Research inventory discrepancies and resolve issues with stakeholders.
• Partner with Client Services to manage date changes due to shortages or priorities.
• Monitor process order shortages and collaborate with Production to resolve issues.
• Release production process orders as directed by Scheduling and Supply Chain leadership.
• Prepare production packets and distribute to Production teams.
• Clear open order reservations and coordinate material receipts and releases.
• Provide scheduling support and backup coverage as needed.
• Maintain planning documentation, S&OP files, SOPs, WIs, and related docs.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer, product, financial, and business information.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
