Job summary

Accelevation in Miamisburg, Ohio seeks a Manufacturing Planner to support daily production scheduling, material availability, and ERP data integrity. You will collaborate with Production, Materials, Shipping, Receiving, Procurement, and Engineering to keep work flowing on time and within priorities.

The role is hands-on, on-site, requiring interaction with the manufacturing floor and timely communication of changes or issues that could impact delivery. A strong eye for detail is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, production planning, materials, inventory, scheduling, logistics, or a related operational role preferred.
• Experience using an ERP/MRP system for production, inventory, material, purchasing, scheduling, or job-related transactions preferred.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing schedules, material flow, inventory, and production processes.
• Ability to understand how material availability, labor capacity, and job priorities impact production.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing manufacturing environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily/weekly production schedules based on priorities, labor, materials, and customer requirements.
• Review schedules, job status, and due dates; communicate changes to Planning and Operations leaders.
• Work with Production teams to understand progress, capacity, material needs, and constraints.
• Adjust job priorities and planning information as directed by leadership.
• Monitor material availability against production needs and identify shortages or constraints.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Materials, Shipping, Receiving to resolve material issues.
• Track materials and components from vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate ERP data: sales orders, jobs, due dates, materials, production info.
• Review ERP data for accuracy and correct discrepancies.
• Support ERP/plan data integrity through proper transactions.
• Monitor job status and production activity for delays or bottlenecks.
• Communicate schedule or system issues that affect delivery.
• Maintain planning reports, trackers, and schedules.
