Burkert USA Corp in Huntersville, NC, is seeking a Materials Planner/Buyer to join our manufacturing and sales team. You will drive material planning discussions with Production, Quality, Engineering and Inside Sales, ensuring on-time material availability and smooth procurement of non-inventory goods and services.

You will manage SAP workflows, optimize inventory levels, and provide production order schedules to support monthly operations plans.

Formación

• BA/BS degree required.
• 3+ years scheduling or production planning in manufacturing.
• SAP planning expertise preferred.
• APICS certification a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to communicate across all levels of the business.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Foster material planning discussions across cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Engineering, Inside Sales) regarding production status and material issues.
• Manage SAP workflow (indirect procurement of non-inventory goods and services).
• Oversee distribution channel procurement, replenishment and delivery reliability.
• Handle stocking agreements and QDP strategies; interpret agreements and manage stock levels.
• Participate in team shop floor meetings and obsolescence reviews.
• Manage inventory levels to meet monthly operations plan; optimize stock and service levels using SAP parameters.
• Maintain master data for ERP-SAP planning affecting planning strategy.
• Provide production order schedules to manufacturing and assembly areas.
