Job summary

Burkert USA Corporation is seeking a skilled planner to support material planning with cross-functional teams across Production, Quality, Engineering and Inside Sales. You will manage SAP workflow for indirect procurement and drive on-time replenishment and delivery reliability.

Responsibilities include optimizing inventory, maintaining ERP data, and providing clear production schedules while guiding new projects from an MRP perspective.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree.
• SAP planning expertise preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in scheduling or production planning in manufacturing.
• APICS certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to use analytical tools to solve business problems.
• Proven ability to communicate with all levels of the business.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Foster planning discussions across Production, Quality, Engineering and Inside Sales regarding status and issues.
• Manage SAP workflow for indirect procurement and external purchases.
• Oversee distribution channel procurement, replenishment and delivery reliability.
• Handle stocking agreements and interpret stock strategies; communicate updates.
• Participate in shop floor meetings, reviews and other necessary meetings.
• Manage inventory levels to meet monthly operations plan and balance mix.
• Use SAP matching parameters to optimize inventory and service levels.
• Maintain ERP-SAP planning master data affecting planning strategies.
• Provide production order schedules to manufacturing and assembly areas.
• Support launch of new projects (CPOH) from an MRP perspective.
