Job summary

Burkert USA Corp, a global leader in process measuring and control technology, is seeking a production planning specialist to optimize material flow and production schedules in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with Production, Quality, Engineering and Inside Sales to balance inventory, procurement status and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has SAP planning experience, at least 3 years in scheduling or production planning, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• SAP planning expertise is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in scheduling or production planning in a manufacturing environment.
• APICS certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to use analytical tools to solve business problems.
• Excellent communication with all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• Foster material planning discussions across cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Engineering, Inside Sales) regarding production status and external purchases.
• Responsible for SAP workflow (indirect procurement of Systemhause non-inventory goods and services).
• Manage distribution channel procurement, replenishment and delivery reliability.
• Oversee stocking agreements and QDP strategies; interpret stocking agreements and communicate updates to cross-functional teams.
• Participate in team shop floor meetings and reviews; support obsolescence reviews.
• Manage product inventory levels to meet monthly operations plans and optimize stock levels using SAP parameters.
• Maintain relevant ERP-SAP master data for planning strategies.
• Provide production order schedules and guidance to manufacturing and assembly areas.
• Support new projects (CPOH) from an MRP standpoint during launch.
