Job summary

Aebi Schmidt Group is seeking a Materials Planner to procure production parts, monitor schedules, and manage on-time delivery performance across suppliers while controlling inventory levels.

You will coordinate with Purchasing, Operations, and Finance to set optimal inventory levels, lead times, and EOQ; analyze MRP data daily and drive improvements in supplier performance and process efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business required (or willing to obtain with equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 3 years material planning experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in building and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned parts and suppliers; resolve issues.
• Develop suppliers to improve delivery performance.
• Coordinate engineering changes and build schedules with suppliers and production.
• Analyze MRP daily/weekly to issue supplier releases.
• Launch, schedule, defer, expedite, and cancel purchase orders to meet requirements.
• Monitor supplier lead-times and update system accuracy.
• Provide timely delivery dates and chase shortages.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Finance to optimize inventory levels.
