Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Inventory Planner/Scheduler position.
• Prior experience resolving supply chain disruptions with minimal impact to budgets & production/operations.
• Ability to influence internal & external stakeholders.
• Be adaptable to manage competing demands & deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed daily/weekly/monthly production schedules to meet customer orders and forecasts.
• Monitor finished goods inventory levels at external vendors.
• Utilize MRP systems to order materials and manage inventory with data accuracy.
• Track production progress, analyze performance metrics, and prepare reports for management.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, delays, or quality issues from external vendors.
• Recommend solutions to enhance production quality, reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Create and maintain MRP master data in collaboration with external vendors.
• Create, monitor, and update Purchase Orders and address discrepancies.
• Expedite deliveries: monitor, process, and clarify over- or due deliveries; escalate as needed.
• Monitor current PO exception reports; remediate with suppliers and inform responsible parties.
• Coordinate sunset item usage for product transitions.
