Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Materials and Manufacturing Planning Analyst to drive insights on materials and manufacturing performance and improve on-time delivery. You will monitor KPIs, perform root-cause analyses, and collaborate with planning, manufacturing, and logistics teams to implement data-driven improvements.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in analytics or BI, strong Excel/SQL, and experience with Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, BI, or analytics engineering roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one major BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).
• Strong experience in data modeling, visualization, and storytelling.
• Relational databases, data integration, and ETL processes understanding.
• Familiarity with advanced analytics or automation preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain analytics is preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights.
• Detail-oriented, curious, and proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Performance Monitoring: Track delivery KPIs (On-Time Delivery rates, service levels) using real-time data.
• Problem Solving: Conduct deep-dive trend and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, and Customer Service to align on underlying root causes and actions plans.
• Data Aggregation: Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Reporting: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations (Power BI, Tableau) to track KPIs and business performance.
• Communication: Create summaries and presentations on performance, trends, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
