Job summary

Prysmian Cables and Systems Usa in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a motivated supply chain professional to optimize inbound material flow, planning and distribution alignment with customer demand.

You will work with Production, Distribution Center, Procurement and third-party partners to ensure on-time delivery and strong service levels, while driving continuous improvement of planning processes and KPI performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• Experience with SAP, including APO modules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support on-time delivery through materials management and inbound/outbound coordination.
• Assist monthly forecasting and planning for long lead-time materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate with stock replenishment for production schedules and customer requirements.
• Manage external partner activities to meet targets while upholding Prysmian values.
• Coordinate supply chain topics across Operations, Logistics, and Commercial teams.
• Monitor flows to support accurate production planning and execution.
• Convert SAP-recommended requisitions into PO and follow up for material availability.
• Maintain supplier communication, including bi-monthly supplier calls.
• Resolve supplier issues promptly and collaboratively.
• Perform root cause analysis on KPIs and suggest action plans.
• Assist with planned physical inventory counts for accuracy.
• Contribute to ERP changes and new development to improve processes.
