Job summary

Matrix in Houston seeks a seasoned Materials Manager to oversee receipt, storage, and issuance of goods for construction projects. You will ensure a continuous flow of materials to support on-site activities and travel to project sites as required.

Lead inventory control, coordinate with project teams, and manage ERP systems, Excel reporting, and procurement processes. A strong background in industrial construction materials is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in Inventory Management and Supply Chain.
• Strong knowledge of industrial construction materials/equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, care, custody, and control of goods on site.
• Operate and maintain the project inventory control system.
• Oversee material planning/allocation to support construction.
• Lead Material Management activities and staff.
• Report on materials and planning status.
• Participate in project management meetings.
