Job summary

Matrix Service Company seeks a Materials Manager to ensure the flow of equipment and materials for construction projects. This role oversees receipt, storage, and issuance of Goods, maintaining inventory control systems and staffing for material management.

The position requires 10+ years in inventory and supply chain, with strong organizational and communication skills and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in Inventory Management and Supply Chain.
• Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, procedures, and materials used in industrial construction.
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent related experience, in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Must be a self-motivated individual who takes initiative and sees projects through to completion.
• Efficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and ERP Systems.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Company with high moral standards in accordance with the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
• Support safety commitments and the Core Values.
• Oversee receipt, care, custody, and control of Goods delivered to the jobsite.
• Operate and maintain the project inventory control system and fulfill requisitions.
• Direct day-to-day and strategic Materials Management activities and staff.
• Maintain reporting related to Materials and Planning/Allocation for Construction.
• Participate in progress/planning meetings as a Project Management Team member.
