Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced materials planning professional for an onsite role in Richardson, TX. You will develop and own the inventory plan, ensure on-time delivery to production lines and customers, and drive continuous improvement across material planning, receiving, storage, and WIP control.

Responsibilities include coordinating with manufacturing on priorities, analyzing E&O and PFEP actions, and leading a team to support SIOP and MRP processes while maintaining target

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience, or an Advanced Degree with 7+ years of related experience.
• ERP experience is required to manage integrated planning systems.
• Capacity planning or equivalent experience is essential for balancing supply, demand and production schedules.
• Leadership experience with direct reports is required to lead teams and coordinate cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the inventory plan (Raw, WIP, Finished Goods) aligned with AOP/SFP objectives.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials to production lines and customers by managing planning, staging, and fulfillment processes.
• Analyze Excess & Obsolete inventory, PFEP, EMP, Entitlement and execute resulting actions.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to adapt to priority changes or order modifications.
• Drive continuous improvement for material planning, receiving, storage, staging and WIP control.
• Assess workload and staffing to support operations and development of employees.
• Manage material strategy for New Product Introduction to End of Life.
• Oversee end-to-end materials process including planning, scheduling, logistics and delivery commitments; lead inventory initiatives.
