Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Durham, NH is seeking a Materials Manager to lead a 10+ person materials team. You will own materials planning, scheduling, inventory control, and logistics to ensure on-time deliveries and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include developing the inventory plan, improving capacity, leading production alignment with AOP/SFP, and driving continuous improvement across material flows from raw inputs to finished goods, while shaping future capabilities.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• SAP Experience
• Capacity Planning or equivalent experience
• Leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the inventory plan for Raw, WIP, and Finished Goods aligned with organizational objectives
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials to production lines and customers by managing planning, staging, and fulfillment
• Analyze Excess & Obsolete, PFEP, EMP and Entitlement and implement resulting actions
• Coordinate with manufacturing to adjust production priorities or orders
• Drive continuous improvement for material planning, receiving, storage, staging, and WIP control
• Assess staffing to support operations and develop employees
• Manage material strategy for NPI to End of Life
• Oversee end-to-end materials process including planning, scheduling, logistics and delivery
• Accountable for inventory control and cycle counting to meet site targets
• Support material release, kitting, movement methods across storage to delivery
• Support SIOP reviews and monitor site metrics
