Job summary

Maverick Power in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking a dedicated Materials and Inventory Control Manager to oversee all aspects of logistics, materials management, and inventory control. The role focuses on procurement, storage, and distribution to support production schedules while minimizing costs.

You will lead a team, implement cycle counts, align with procurement and operations, and drive improvements in accuracy, scheduling, and safety.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in materials management and inventory control in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, handling, and management of raw materials and supplies.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production and reduce costs.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Quality Assurance.
• Lead and develop the materials and inventory team, foster accountability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and drive process improvements and cost savings.
