Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Materials Buyer Planner for the West Palm Beach GTF MRO site to drive SIOP across operations. You will manage material availability, analyze data, and help implement digital tools to optimize sourcing and vendor performance.

The role requires collaboration across operations, quality, engineering, and supply chain, with travel up to 10% and a strong emphasis on data quality and change management during digital transformation efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing large data sets with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with SAP Materials Management or MM module.
• Comfort with Power BI, Power Automate and SAP analytics for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure material details are ordered and manage buyer queue to meet engine sales orders.
• Coordinate and expedite purchase orders and update MRP within SAP.
• Monitor material shortage risks and mitigation opportunities.
• Attend daily in-person production meetings to report material and vendor status.
