Job summary

Arlon Graphics, LLC seeks a procurement planner to manage material buying decisions and optimize stock for production and future demand. You will build supplier relationships, issue POs, and monitor inventory levels to minimize obsolescence and costs.

The role requires 3+ years in procurement, expertise in MRP, and strong SAP skills to support global materials management within a manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in procurement including purchasing, inventory control, contract negotiation, supply management, and supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of MRP processes.
• Computer proficiency in MRP/MPS systems, Excel, Word, and database applications required.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage system demand plan to support production and shipments.
• Handle correspondence on over-shipments, shortages, and price changes; report updates timely.
• Input purchase orders with domestic and international suppliers; expedite deliveries.
• Maintain inventory levels and stocking strategies to meet targets and turns.
• Collaborate with suppliers on inventory levels and raw materials purchases.
• Analyze purchasing requirements, material usage, and inventory targets.
• Forecast needs from historical data to optimize purchasing levels.
• Maintain SAP stock data including lead-time and pricing.
• Work with warehousing, logistics, and product management on forecasts and inventory spikes.
