Job summary

American Nitrile is seeking a highly motivated Buyer in Ohio to ensure materials are available in the right quantities and at the best cost to support production. The role includes procurement, material planning, and inventory management while collaborating with Operations and Quality teams.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of manufacturing purchasing/planning experience, strong ERP and Excel skills, and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of purchasing/planning experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems required.
• Experience managing suppliers and inventory replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and manage purchase orders for materials.
• Monitor open orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Expedite critical materials to prevent production interruptions.
• Support supplier qualification and onboarding efforts.
• Collaborate with Quality and Operations to resolve issues.
