Essex Solutions USA LLC in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring a Buyer/Planner to lead strategic sourcing of MRO and packaging, manage inventory planning, and ensure supply continuity across North American operations. You will partner with maintenance, operations, and corporate sourcing to deliver cost discipline and compliant procurement.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement within manufacturing, strong ERP/MRP skills (SAP/Oracle), and proven negotiation and analytics capabilities to drive savings

Formación

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement and planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in MRO procurement and packaging materials.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI a plus).
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sourcing activities for MRO and packaging categories with compliance.
• Conduct RFQs, evaluate supplier bids, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Validate requisitions for compliance with MRO Purchasing Policy.
• Ensure PO accuracy and alignment with specifications and policies.
• Maintain communication with Corporate Sourcing and Supply Chain on risks.
• Develop charters for initiatives with goals, KPIs, and timelines.
• Provide procurement support to plant operations and leadership.
• Respond to urgent MRO requirements to minimize production risk.
