Zusammenfassung

Logisnext Americas Inc. in Marengo, IL is seeking a Material Planning professional to develop and implement purchasing policies and inventory management principles.

You will ensure data integrity in MRP and support production requirements through engineering orders and New Product Introductions. You will collaborate across departments to optimize material flow, manage supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement projects.

Qualifikationen

• Background in Material Planning and Inventory Management.
• Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Experience in New Product Introduction and Engineering Order Management.
• MRP database management experience.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Exposure to International Suppliers.
• Ability to work well with others inside and outside the company.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.

Aufgaben

• Interpret MRP and release POs; communicate supplier feedback on timing, quantity, expediting and past due status.
• Ensure uninterrupted material flow to support Master Production Schedule.
• Update databases and MRP systems to maintain data integrity.
• Manage component availability for shortages, NPI, and E.O. implementation.
• Develop and manage departmental targets for PO management, supplier delivery performance, inventory and obsolescence exposure.
• Survey suppliers for changes affecting delivery timing and capacity.
• Collaborate with suppliers to create recovery plans; escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with Production Control, Manufacturing and Receiving to ensure inventory accuracy via cycle counts and BOM analysis.
• Attend meetings to support cross-department communication.
