Global Finishing Solutions LLC is seeking a Buyer to work closely with our manufacturing teams in the electrical department to ensure materials and services meet production needs. You will manage commodities, plan purchases using MRP/ERP, and balance inventory, cost, quality, and supplier performance.

You’ll respond to production changes, manage supplier relationships, and resolve material challenges to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of purchasing or buying experience.
• Experience with MRP and ERP systems.
• Strong computer and basic math skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and purchase materials using MRP and production requirements while keeping appropriate inventory.
• Manage purchase orders and respond to production schedule changes and supplier availability.
• Maintain ERP planning parameters including cost, lead times, safety stock, and order quantities.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships with day-to-day ordering, delivery and performance.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and business needs.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Scheduling, Engineering and teams to resolve material issues.
• Address supplier and material non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions and recovery.
