Job summary

Jabil in New Hampshire seeks a Materials/Procurement Specialist to procure components for production and prototypes, focusing on pricing, lead times, quality resolution, delivery and inventory management.

You will work to optimize MRP and ensure on-time delivery, maintaining data integrity, and driving supplier performance while reducing procurement costs to support manufacturing needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum education requirements and ability to interpret data.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working with ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in decision making of MPS loading through proper materials sizing.
• Analyze, maintain, and execute Materials Requirement Plan (MRP).
• Ensure materials availability to support production per the Master Production Schedule through MRP execution.
• Proactively eliminate materials liabilities for Jabil by ownership clarity and data support to define customer liable materials.
• Issue Purchase Orders to negotiated terms and ensure supplier adherence.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain master data integrity and planning parameters to balance procurement cost and inventory.
• Support Accounts Payable in resolving invoice discrepancies.
