Zusammenfassung

Glendale Dining Services is seeking a Buyer for the Berkeley, IL facility to manage raw-material purchasing and ERP-driven planning to maintain production continuity.

You will collaborate with Planning, Operations, Nutrition, Procurement, and suppliers to prevent shortages, handle substitutions, and support supplier qualification and new product sourcing while using Sage X3 and Excel daily. This is a full-time exempt role with full benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Three or more years of buying or similar supply chain experience.
• ASCM or HACCP/ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Sage X3 ERP.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple purchasing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Orders raw materials, considering supplier minimums, lead times, capacity and pricing.
• Monitor Sage X3 ERP planning outputs (MRP/MPS) to support production schedules.
• Collaborate with Planning and Operations to prevent production delays.
• Maintain substitution tracking and supplier qualification documentation.
