Job summary

Monogram Foods in Minnesota is seeking a Buyer to monitor inventory and purchase materials for finished goods production, MRO, and office supplies for the facility. You will manage MRP, liaise with vendors, order one-off items, and prepare forecasts to support production schedules.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, some experience in food manufacturing, and strong analytical, math, and communication skills. You will collaborate across departments and maintain data in systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong analytical and math skills; good problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with computer software and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor MRP and order materials used in finished goods production.
• Monitor MRO and office supply levels for production and office needs.
• Liaise with vendors and place orders, including one-off items.
• Prepare forecasts to help predict material requirements.
• Coordinate with production schedulers to ensure on-site availability.
• Assist Accounts Payable with workflow and PO issues.
• Maintain accurate data in relevant software systems.
• Coordinate with support center to manage new SKUs as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
