Job summary

Opella Healthcare Group in Chattanooga seeks a Material Planning Manager to lead end-to-end material planning for ingredients and components, ensuring timely, accurate, cost-effective availability to meet production schedules.

You will mentor a team of Strategic Material Planners, partner across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and quality, own the S&OP process, and drive inventory optimization and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in supply chain, material planning, or operations; 3+ years leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Strategic Material Planners.
• Develop material planning strategies to meet production schedules.
• Act as the primary liaison between site and corporate supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
• Own the site-level S&OP process and provide accurate planning inputs.
• Monitor KPIs: inventory turns, service levels, fill rates, supplier performance.
