Job summary

ABB in Mt Juliet, TN is seeking an Inventory Planner to lead end-to-end inventory planning, from requisition to customer invoicing, and to support internal service inquiries. You will set inventory parameters, manage replenishment, and coordinate with operations and buyers to optimize supplier performance.

A bachelor’s or equivalent in Materials/Supply Chain or related field is required with 2+ years’ experience; SAP, Excel and Power BI proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials/Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• APICS / ISM or equal supply chain certifications.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end inventory planning from requisition to customer invoicing.
• Support internal customer service inquiries.
• Set inventory parameters (safety stock, reorder point, lot size) and ensure replenishment via purchase orders.
• Coordinate material planning with call-offs to convert requisitions into purchase orders with operations buyers.
• Collaborate with buyers to optimize supplier on-time delivery and lead times.
