Job summary

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC is seeking a Material Planning Specialist to oversee material control, purchasing, customs clearance, inventory management and logistics. You will help establish processes, adjust SAP-based workflows, and coordinate with Production Control, Logistics, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency and data accuracy across the supply chain.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
0-2 years of material planning, logistics, inventory control, purchasing, warehouse operations, or related field.
Knowledge of MRP, inventory control, and supplier coordination.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Ability to learn SAP/ERP processes and apply problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee material purchasing, MRP monitoring, inventory control and logistics.
Coordinate with Production Control, Logistics, QC, Procurement, Development on issues as they arise.
Maintain SAP data such as Material Master, scheduling agreements and price changes.
Monitor imports and customs clearance processes and support duty management.
Track inbound/outbound logistics, vendor communications and continuous improvement initiatives.
