Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Production Planning (Material Planner) for its Canoga Park, CA facility. The role organizes and coordinates the work of teams supporting production activities including planning, scheduling, material planning and shipping.

You will perform short- and long-range planning, issue materials in line with program requirements, monitor inventory, and use ERP tools. This is a first shift position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years of production/material planning experience; graduate degree with 2+ years; no degree with 8+ years experience.
• Experience with ERP systems, MBOM management, and demand planning.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate production planning and material control activities.
• Schedule work and manage material flow to meet program requirements.
• Monitor inventory, issue materials, and manage capacity alignment.
• Utilize ERP and PLM tools for planning and tracking.
