Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Production Planning in Mason, Ohio on site. You will plan and control production schedules, coordinate materials, and support cross-functional teams to meet program demands.

The role requires a 4+ year background in production planning or related fields, with ERP/Costpoint experience and strong communication skills. On-site schedule is 9/80 with every other Friday off.

Qualifications

• Practical and applied knowledge of production planning, material coordination, inventory control, and related business processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction within standard policies and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules to support program and project requirements.
• Coordinate material requirements to ensure timely availability of approved materials.
• Monitor and communicate work-in-progress status, material availability, and potential production issues.
• Learn and utilize warehouse management and ERP systems, including Costpoint, to process transactions.
• Maintain accurate ERP inputs and system transactions to ensure inventory integrity.
• Coordinate production materials to support the master production schedule and shop workload.
