Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks an Associate Manager for Production Planning at its Canoga Park, CA facility. You will lead the Load Analyst and Product Liaison teams to ensure smooth workflow through the factory, while balancing quality and cost across schedules.

The role emphasizes coaching, process improvement, and safety, with a 9/80 schedule and minimal travel. Strong manufacturing leadership and ERP/MES experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 6 years manufacturing experience; or Graduate Degree with 4 years.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading production planning or scheduling teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily work assignments to meet quality, cost, and schedule commitments.
• Mentor and support employees on career growth.
• Approve timecards and manage labor charging to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Identify, report, and eliminate unsafe acts and conditions; implement safety improvements.
• Support internal and external audits and drive root cause analyses with corrective actions.
• Overtime may be required; travel minimal.
