SAIC is seeking a detail-oriented Material and Inventory Control Technician to support M-SHORAD in Huntsville, AL. You will plan, coordinate, and control the flow of materials to meet production schedules and program demand.

The role requires 2+ years in material control or related fields, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, and Manufacturing. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; additional four years experience can substitute for degree.
• 2+ years in material control, inventory management, or production planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and navigate production floors as needed.

Responsabilités

• Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules.
• Coordinate material requirements with schedules and manage material movement.
• Analyze demand, inventory, and lead times to determine ordering strategies.
• Provide reports on inventory levels, production status, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
