Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company in Moorpark, CA seeks a Material Planner to lead material flow, inventory control, and outbound shipments. You will oversee procurement coordination, shop order releases, and material kit preparation to support project-based manufacturing.

The role requires 3+ years in materials management and logistics, a BA/BS preferred, and strong ERP/MRP and MS Office skills. Import/export knowledge and lean manufacturing experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Materials Management, Logistics, and Planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with adaptability.
• Experience with Import/Export and international shipping.
• LEAN Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review supply and demand within ERP to ensure timely availability of production materials.
• Manage raw material receipt, inventory, and finished goods movement to customers.
• Maintain records of inventory movements and Customer Furnished Property.
• Issue shop orders and coordinate material kits with Production.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories; support Kaizen activities.
• Coordinate shipments, packing slips, and logistical liaison duties.
