Job summary

ConMet seeks a seasoned materials and logistics leader to orchestrate end-to-end planning, procurement, and inventory control across Monroe, NC and offsite locations. You will drive master scheduling, SAP-based MRP, and KPI governance, partnering with Customer Service and IT to ensure on-time delivery, optimal stock levels, and continuous cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; APICS certification preferred.
• 8–10 years of related manufacturing materials management experience focused on procurement, planning, and inventory control.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and operations (SAP/JD Edwards).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor materials and logistics personnel; hire, set expectations, and manage performance.
• Monitor and report KPIs, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Ensure efficient incoming, warehousing, and distribution logistics.
• Maintain a stable production planning and controlling process.
• Partner with Customer Service to fulfill plant supply chain requirements.
