Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks a Master Production Scheduler for its Richland Center, WI facility. This on-site, full-time role coordinates with Demand Managers and Production Control Analysts to build a monthly master schedule and align material availability with capacity.

You will monitor capacity, drive KPI reporting, and collaborate with buyers, planners, and S&OP teams to balance load and optimize inventory while adhering to customer service goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of supply chain planning experience.
• Experience with ERP systems, SAP.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Work with Production & Inventory Control Managers to understand and advise on capacity to minimize late orders and overtime.
• Build rough-cut capacity planning at the work center level and across departments.
• Prepare manufacturing plan of orders for the month and quarter based on capacity, hours, and material availability.
• Monitor inputs for capacity planning (efficiency, utilization, absenteeism).
• Coordinate with S&OP on load, capacity, and backlog alignment.
• Manage pull-in/push-out dates per requirements.
• Collaborate with Buyer/Planners to balance orders by material/capacity.
• Communicate material availability updates and production output.
