Job summary

Grand Rapids Controls in Rockford, MI is seeking a Master Scheduler to develop and maintain the master production schedule; align production with customer demand, inventory, materials, labor, and capacity.

The role requires collaborating with PC&L, manufacturing, purchasing, shipping, sales, and finance to ensure an achievable plan. You will monitor demand, performance metrics, and drive improvements in scheduling and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business or related field.
• 5 years of progressive experience in production scheduling, materials or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule based on customer demand, capacity, inventory, materials, and business priorities.
• Review customer forecasts and historical demand trends and adjust production and inventory plans accordingly.
• Identify future shortages and capacity constraints and communicate risks and actions to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Rockford, Qingdao, Mexico, Romania, suppliers and logistics partners to support customer requirements.
• Maintain scheduling data in Epicor and investigate system exceptions impacting production or delivery.
