The Center for Student Health & Counseling (SHAC) at PSU seeks a Marketing, Outreach, & Communications Coordinator to lead strategic marketing and communications within the university. You will plan events, manage outreach, mentor staff, and supervise publicity for all SHAC initiatives.

You will collaborate with faculty and partners, oversee materials and digital channels, and evaluate impact while working under PSU AAUP guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience in an appropriate area of specialization.
• Master’s degree in an appropriate area such as marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, health communication or related field.
• Professional experience in a marketing/communications position.
• Experience in graphic design and/or creative services management.
• Effective organizational skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Project planning and management skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Professional Suite, Google Suite, Canva, Social Media platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, website editing, and other digital communication and marketing tools.
• Demonstrated artistic and design abilities, including knowledge of relevant design technologies, trends and techniques, with the ability to create and work with both print and digital formats.
• Ability to take initiative and to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of self-motivation to meet goals and objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies for SHAC within the university setting.
• Envision events and promotions that support SHAC services and mission; assess learning outcomes.
• Recruit, mentor, and coach staff-volunteers; oversee event planning, logistics, and publicity.
• Build relationships with faculty, departments, and community partners through co-sponsoring and outreach.
• Oversee all SHAC publicity, including materials, website design, and social media accounts.
• Measure efficacy of marketing efforts using evaluative strategies and budget adherence.
