Job summary

ProAssurance, a leading specialty insurer, seeks a Senior Marketing Representative to profitably manage the agency distribution network and provide field marketing support. This remote role requires strong relationships and P&C experience to drive profitable agency partnerships.

Based in Georgia or South Carolina, with possible Charlotte NC, the position involves travel about 40% and collaboration with Regional VP and Directors of Marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing plus seven years P&C experience.
• Ability to build relationships with agency partners and prospects.
• Ability to promote and sell the Company’s products and service to the marketplace; ability to represent the Company in a professional manner; ability to make presentations to large groups of people.

Responsibilities

• Support regional service teams to manage the Company’s agency distribution, monitor results and coordinate visits.
• Coordinate and participate in the annual agency business planning and monitor results.
• Coordinate and manage all regional agency outings and marketing events.
• Advocate the Company as carrier of choice to new and prospective agencies; promote new products and services.
• Prospect, qualify and appoint agencies in assigned territory and maintain the database.
• Coordinate all new agency orientation meetings and produce meeting materials.
• Oversee agency agreements, Profit Incentive Plan and commission plans in assigned territories.
• Coordinate with the regional Agency Advisory Council and implement action plans.
• Manage agency training and education programs and identify new producer development programs.
• Participate in Company initiatives and promote technology adoption with producers/CSRs.
