Job summary

CEC Facilities is seeking a Marketing Events Specialist to plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events—including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and campaigns. You will collaborate with sales, leadership, and creative teams to ensure events meet goals and promote brand awareness.

The role emphasizes strong project management, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple events within budget while coordinating content and collateral across channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or related field.
• Proven track record of organizing and managing successful events.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Suite, WordPress and Canva.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute marketing events such as conferences, trade shows, product launches, webinars, and corporate events.
• Research, negotiate, and manage relationships with event venues, vendors, and suppliers within budget.
• Collaborate with marketing to align event strategies with broader goals and drive attendance and ROI.
• Create and distribute marketing collateral including blog posts, social media content, emails, and newsletters.
• Oversee all logistical aspects of event planning including site selection, registration, travel, setup, and staffing.
• Develop and manage event budgets and track ROI and success metrics.
