Job summary

Northwestern Mutual Houston is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead strategic marketing, strengthen the Network Office’s market presence, and drive advisor productivity and revenue through data-driven planning.

The role partners with the Managing Partner and corporate marketing, oversees the Marketing Engagement Program, and guides advisor-focused initiatives while ensuring alignment with the Northwestern Mutual brand and growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent education/experience in marketing, communications or business.
• Experience building integrated marketing strategies in regulated industries.
• Translate growth priorities into marketing plans, campaigns, events, and sales-enablement initiatives.
• Experience managing digital channels, budgets, and performance reporting.
• Strong consulting, project-management, stakeholder-influence, and communication skills.
• Brand standards, compliance and measurable business impact focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive strategic marketing plan aligned with Network Office growth priorities.
• Own the digital footprint for the Network Office and Managing Partner, including websites and social-media channels.
• Plan, manage, and track the marketing budget to optimize allocation and ROI.
• Lead the Marketing Engagement Program with strategy, execution, adoption, and performance tracking.
• Partner with corporate marketing to measure program effectiveness and ROI.
• Lead client and prospect engagement events and advisor education and adoption across segments.
• Cultivate partnerships and lead local PR, advertising, and affinity-market expansion.
• Support advisor recruiting with digital and print materials as needed.
• Provide strategic marketing consultations to select advisors and design customized plans.
