Gensler's New York City office is seeking a creative, motivated Marketing Specialist to join our team. You will write, design, and produce proposals, presentations, and other collateral to support business development, under the guidance of office leadership and marketing leaders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in marketing within a design or professional services firm
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism or Business
• Ability to lead BD conversations confidently and strategically and collaborate with leadership on win strategy and storytelling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative and impactful graphic design skills, including creating effective presentations and marketing collateral
• Self-motivator with strong organizational and intrapersonal skills, and a great collaborator
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to work with diverse project teams in a fast-paced environment
• Mastery of InDesign is a must
• Proficiency in Photoshop / Illustrator; knowledge of Google Slides, Keynote, and Miro a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required

Responsibilities

• Participate and lead pursuit strategy and planning
• Design, write, and produce proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral aligned with brand standards
• Develop new materials to support business development with emphasis on graphic design
• Execute multiple marketing efforts against tight deadlines
• Learn and understand Gensler's portfolio, practice areas, and capabilities
• Maintain marketing collateral, resources, and information systems
• Collaborate with other marketing team members on special projects to elevate quality
