Job summary

PPG is seeking a Strategic Marketing Analyst to support the Coatings Services growth strategy through market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive analysis. You will work with Commercial Excellence, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to identify opportunities and accelerate growth in priority markets, reporting to the Senior Manager of Commercial Excellence and Marketing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or related field.
3+ years in market analysis, strategic marketing, or related functions.
Experience with segmentation, competitive intelligence, and strategic planning.
Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, CRM systems, and data visualization.

Responsibilities

Develop market intelligence and analyses identifying growth opportunities, trends, and strategic priorities.
Conduct segmentation analyses to identify priority markets, target accounts, whitespace, and growth potential.
Maintain competitive intelligence programs including mapping, benchmarking, and threat assessment.
Support strategic growth initiatives by evaluating opportunities, prioritizing accounts, and recommending actions for market penetration and profitable growth.
Collaborate with Commercial Excellence, Marketing, and Sales to identify cross-business opportunities and expand presence in targeted markets.
