Job summary

PPG is seeking a Strategic Marketing Analyst to support the Coatings Services growth strategy through market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive analysis. You will identify where and how the business should grow by delivering actionable insights on markets, industries, customers, and competitors.

You will partner with Commercial Excellence, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership to drive diversification, pipeline growth, and long‑term planning, reporting to the Senior Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Analytics, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in market analysis, strategic marketing, business intelligence, or related functions.
• Experience with customer segmentation, market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop market intelligence and industry analyses to identify growth opportunities and strategic priorities.
• Conduct segmentation analyses to identify priority markets and whitespace opportunities.
• Maintain competitive intelligence programs including benchmarking and market positioning assessments.
• Evaluate market opportunities and account prioritization to support growth and diversification.
• Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and leadership teams to expand presence in target markets.
