Job summary

Clark Construction Group in Chicago seeks a junior Market Development Analyst to help expand the firm’s local market share by mapping the competitive landscape and cultivating client relationships.

You will work under the Regional Project Development Lead, track public projects, monitor RFPs, and support event strategy and brand presence at industry gatherings.

Base salary ranges from $55,000 to $80,000 with comprehensive benefits; compensation varies by education, experience, and location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities are essential.
• Ability to identify strategic opportunities and build client profiles.

Responsibilities

• Market Intelligence & Tracking: maintain a real-time regional pipeline using CRM tools and public sources.
• Public Project Tracking: monitor upcoming public RFPs/RFQs in advance.
• Strategic Event & Brand Programming: vet conferences and sponsor decisions for ROI.
• The Deep Dive Research: build comprehensive profiles of potential clients and partners.
• Outreach & Internal Strategy: develop intro strategies and win strategies for projects.
• Relationship Management Network: maintain matrix of relationships and regular touchpoints.
• Zoning, Permitting, and Code Expertise: map zoning processes and educate team on changes.
• Business Integration: participate in site walks and understand project drivers.
