Clark Construction Group seeks a strategic Client Growth Lead to drive regional growth from our Chicago office. This role targets deep relationships across real estate development and investment, welcoming candidates from related fields and emphasizing relationship cultivation over chasing projects.

The CGL connects developers with Clark’s internal experts, leads early partnerships, and monitors market opportunities to position Clark as the builder of choice for multi-year development horizons.

Qualifications

• Unconventional network of developers, lenders, equity partners or municipal contacts.
• Strong understanding of preconstruction agreements, GMP/AIA terms, major building systems.
• Strategic facilitator capable of orchestrating internal experts.
• Long-term relationship builder with multi-year development horizons.

Responsibilities

• Private development relationship building and ecosystem management with developers and investors.
• Lead pro-forma led design assist efforts and negotiate preconstruction terms.
• Monitor Chicago private and public sector opportunities and RFQs/RFPs.
• Coordinate internal SME teams to assemble proposals and pricing.
• Engage in brand presence at industry events and manage CRM pipelines.
• Expand adjacent regional markets as relationships mature.
