Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Corporate Development professional to identify and evaluate strategic opportunities with a global focus. You will conduct market research, build financial models, and translate analyses into actionable plans for senior management.

Travel may be required as needed to support initiatives and stakeholder engagement. The role collaborates with multiple FMCNA departments to assess new business opportunities, perform risk analyses, and help implement strategic growth

Qualifications

• 2 - 5 years' related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent directly related work experience.
• Experience with and knowledge of contracts a plus
• Experience with various databases, including MS Access. Experience with Salesforce and/or Quickbase
• Fluent in Excel, including reporting, v-lookups, pivot tables, macros and formulas.
• Ability to create local marketing/strategic plans
• Business Development exposure from evaluation through integration and implementation.
• Demonstrate ability to directly interact with various FMCNA stakeholders including physicians
• Ability to function as a strong member of a highly motivated and integrated organization team.

Responsibilities

• Conducts market research, data collection, and various analyses to justify long and short range programs and plans for the Corporate Development Office.
• Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
• Assists with translating quantitative and qualitative analyses into actionable corporate strategies under the supervision of senior management.
• Evaluates projects through financial feasibility studies and market research using external data and third party resources.
• Generates business planning models to develop strategies and presents findings.
• Engages in data analyses and modeling to evaluate status and viability of current initiatives and programs.
• Develops business models and determines market trends to substantiate long-term prospects.
• Collaborating with FMC departments to develop model assumptions and understand impacts of new opportunities.
• Assists Corporate Development in drafting write-ups and presentation materials for presentation.
