Job summary

Avid Bioservices in California seeks a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Scheduling to own the site’s master production schedule and drive a constraint-based finite schedule across upstream, downstream, and formulation operations.

You will lead a team, optimize throughput, and coordinate with Supply Chain, Quality, and Facilities to protect on-time delivery while maintaining cGMP compliance. This role reports into the site operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, supply chain, operations/production management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing operations and master scheduling experience.
• Experience translating MPS into executable finite schedules across multiple suites.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize master production schedule (MPS) and translate demand into a feasible plan across all suites and trains.
• Lead finite, constraint-based scheduling at day, shift, and hour levels; manage bottlenecks and changeovers.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, QA, Facilities, and MSAT to ensure alignment and adherence to OTIF targets.
• Drive schedule adherence, throughput, and continuous improvement of scheduling processes and tools.
• Lead and develop scheduling staff and represent scheduling in cross-functional forums.
